4003) Garden Pixies Earrings

She walked through the garden as the sun began its decent beyond the horizon. The cooling temperature tempted the nocturnals to come out and explore the changes of the day. It didn't bother her. She had walked this garden many times already that week.

Crickets chirped, and tree frogs called to one another from the canopy above. Fireflies blinked among the flowers and garden decorations, as a new sense of energy filled the garden.

A smile lifted the corners of her mouth as she sat on her favorite bench, surrounded by winding vines and passion flower blooms.

The sounds of the evening were interrupted when a pixie fell into her lap, startling her.

She looked down at the creature and asked, "Where did you come from?" The pixie pointed up towards an overhanging fruit tree.

She stood and raised the pixie toward a nearby branch where an apple blossom grew. The pixie jumped from her hand to the blossom, did a flourish with its tiny hands and the blossom glowed and slowly closed its petals.

She watched as the pixie climbed further up the branch and repeated the same flourish to other blossoms along the way.

Her smile grew as her belief in magic and the fantastic anchored firmer within her.
